what are the main parts that construct an electric infrared heat lamp(heater)?

I have to do a project which invloves setting an electric infrared heat lamp as a heat source. Funding is a problem, so I need an advice if there are any means of constructing this type of heater at low cost using easily avialable parts. High efficiency is not a factor but generation of a mid- range heat is necessary.

You can buy these type bulbs in many places. Building supply store such as lowes or homedepot to a biz that sells just electrical supplies. Infared heat lamp bulb. They have many uses and have different wattages available also.
